Autism Assessments, Community Events, and Back-to-School Support
As the school year begins, families are adjusting to new routines, classrooms, and schedules. At On Track Pediatric Therapy, we are here to help make the transition smoother by providing consistent therapy support, flexible scheduling, and new services designed to meet the needs of every child.
Now Offering Autism Assessments with the ADOS-2
We are excited to announce that we now provide Autism Assessments using the ADOS-2 for children ages 12 months through 18 years. This evidence-based tool is considered the gold standard for assessing autism spectrum disorder and helps families receive answers, clarity, and support more quickly.
Our process is simple, comprehensive, and family-friendly, with three steps:
- Step 1: Speech & Language Evaluation
We begin with a full speech and language evaluation, which also looks at social communication, play skills, and overall interaction. This helps us understand your child’s strengths and areas of need before moving into formal testing. - Step 2: ADOS-2 Administration
A speech-language pathologist trained in the ADOS-2 will work with your child in a structured, play-based setting. The ADOS-2 involves interactive tasks and activities designed to measure communication, social interaction, and behaviors in a natural way. - Step 3: Diagnosis & Documentation
After the assessment, our team prepares a detailed report of the findings. Results are shared with your child’s pediatrician or primary care provider, who will review and sign off on a diagnosis if the child qualifies. This step ensures medical documentation is in place so families can access services, resources, and support as needed.

This process provides families with a clear path forward and helps children access the right therapies as early as possible.
Back-to-School: We’re Here for You
While school-based services are valuable, they often aren’t enough to fully meet a child’s developmental and therapeutic needs. That’s where outpatient therapy can bridge the gap.
We provide:
- Speech Therapy – supporting communication, language, and social interaction
- Occupational Therapy – helping with sensory processing, motor skills, and daily routines
- Physical Therapy – improving strength, balance, and coordination
- ABA Therapy – supporting behavior, learning, and independence
- Counseling – promoting emotional health, coping strategies, and family support
We also offer teletherapy options for families who need additional flexibility to fit therapy into their schedules.
